"The Lord will gaurd you against all harm. He will gaurd your life. He will guard your coming and going for now on and forever"
Psalm 121:7-8
Where ever we walk down this path of life, we can know one thing is for certain. We are well protected. Whether the path is sunny and bright, without a care, or whether there are bullets flying here and there, and chaos is all we see, we are protected.
God tells us He will gaurd our coming and going. Life is uncertain. But one thing is always for certain. God is good. He is strong and mighty, and He is in control. He never sleeps(v. 4). He sees it all, and knows what each of us goes through.
Our bodies may be exhausted. Our emotions played with. Our spirits broken a thousand times over. But God will allow no more than we can handle. And through His redemption, the past is erased. Sins thrown to the bottom of the ocean, never to be seen again.
Gods great love covers all we do, all we see, all we experience. He is our shield against all harm, and our shelter when we are weak. The man in the midst of war, or in the middle of a huge hurricane is just as safe and sheltered as the man who is safe in his bed, on a clear, warm night. God sees past the situation and sees the need. Come unto Him today. He will give us help and He will give us strength.
